Helmut Niedermaier and Vadim Eggert from SC Bretten participated in the first lightning tournament with an Elo-Blitz evaluation. Both got the first Elo-Blitz points. Helmut Niedermaier came in 40th place with 1716 points and Vadim Eggert in 49th place with 1396 points. There were 6 champions in this tournament. The average Elo rating was 1703 points for some missing Elo rating participants and the average DWZ number was 1800 points.

The tournament in Bruchsal was attended by SC Bretten Vadim Eggert. Vadim took second place with 3 out of 5 points in Group 10 and immediately earned his first DWZ of 1099 points.

At the tournament in Karlsruhe, SC Bretten was joined by Arthur Eggert and his sister Emma. Arthur finished 14th out of 18 with 2 out of 5 points in the ABC / U6 group. Emma took the 17th place with a win.

On 26.06.18 we got from the city Bretten the permission to use the coat of arms for our club. Mrs. Susanne Hess and Mr. Michael Nölntner, from the mayor's office, ask us to use the coat of arms in all dignity and, of course for us, in a non-commercial way. At the tournament in Untergrombach SC Bretten Arthur Eggert participated. He was 51st ranked as the youngest player.

The summer tournament has started. Helmut Niedermaier, Gerhard Legner, Rudi Reich, Vadim Eggert, Julian and Dieter Dürrwächter won the first game. Exceptionally good were especially the games of youth!
